For 2011 MTV Video Music Awards will include a tribute to the pop star Britney Spears, and now a source says Katy Perry, Lady Gaga Kesha and will be part of all-star honors.
According DigitalSpy, television producer and casting director, Jonathan Woodbeck ("The Real World," "Top Chef") has tweeted its forecast looks like. "If this configuration is legit (which I'm told), a tribute to the VMAs Britney is going to be insanely epic!" He wrote in one of the pop stars who are reportedly performing a medley of memorable.
According to Wood Beck mash-up include Selena Gomez sings "... Baby One More Time" Perry performing "Oops ... I Did It Again" Janet Jackson fronting "I'm a Slave 4 U '; sampling Demi Lovato "Toxic" Kesha and Nicki Minaj Perform 'Gimme More'; Gaga sings "Circus", and last but not least, Britney Spears close things with "Hold It Against Me" / "I Want to Go." Madonna would go on stage after the show to present an award with Spears' Lifetime Achievement.
While this mega-mix would be a dream come true, MTV has not confirmed nor denied this information. The annual prices shown some amazing tricks pulled in the past, so this range of A-list is not outside the realm of possibility, but we are still awaiting final word from the network before you start jumping for joy.
The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday, August 28 at 21:00 ET / PT on MTV and MTV.com.
